Day 3 of Disney

 Porter loves the carousel.
Lincoln and Caleb in the Ferris Wheel.
Porter and Charlotte in the Ferris Wheel.
Eating cotton candy waiting for Mickey and the Magical Map to start.
We park hopped at Disney today.  We rode every ride we wanted to ride at least once and lots of rides several times.

Newport Beach

 Lincoln playing in the sand.
Caleb, Lincoln, and Porter getting near the ocean.
Lincoln and Charlotte going to wade in the water.
Porter's feet are buried in the sand.
We didn't want to go to Disneyland on Sunday, so we went to the beach.  We listened to General Conference on our drive.  It was a little bit cold outside and the water was freezing.  We had fun playing in the sand.  Lincoln loved finding seashells and Porter loved chasing the seagulls (we don't see many seagulls in Colorado).  We loved going to the beach and we all waded in the near freezing ocean.

Disneyland

 Caleb and Lincoln on Dumbo.
Can you tell these boys love carousels?
 Spinning in the teacup.
 Porter hugging Pluto.
Lincoln hugging Pluto and getting his autograph.
Porter found Pluto again and wanted to hug him!
Today we went to Disneyland.  We had a fun time! Porter's favorite ride is the carousel.  Lincoln went on the roller coasters he was tall enough for, but he cried pretty much the whole time on them.  He enjoyed all the kiddie rides though.  Porter wanted to hug Pluto twice and said that "Pluto loves me!"  We love Disney!

Disney California Adventure

Porter on Toy Story Midway Mania. His first ride at Disney!
Porter and Lincoln on King Triton's Carousel.
Another picture, this time while the ride is moving. (Notice my reflection!)
 Spinning on Francis' Ladybug Boogie.
Porter was brave enough to hug Donald Duck. (Unfortunately I stood to close and cut off Donald's head.)
Caleb and Lincoln on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.
We had an incredible time at Disney California Adventure!  It was the first time for all of us.  It was Porter's first time at an amusement park and he loved it.  That is a huge deal for a kid who won't even ride the coin horse at the grocery store.  We started the day as soon as the park opened and hardly had to wait in line.  Porter was tall enough for most rides and Lincoln was tall enough for every ride he dared go on.  We love everything about Disney, especially the magic through the eyes of our children.

El Cabrillo Beach and Aquarium

Lincoln wrote his name in the sand.

Porter loved digging in the sand at the beach.

Digging in the sand together.

Looking at the jelly fish "just like on Nemo!"
In the aquarium tunnel.
Lincoln and Dad under the great white shark.
Lincoln and Porter on the stage.
Looking at the tide pools.  Lincoln was brave enough to touch the sea creatures.
 At the pirate ship playground.
Our first day in California, we went to the El Cabrillo Beach and Aquarium.  We had a blast!  The weather was fairly cool and windy, so we didn't dare swim.  However, we had fun playing in the sand and at the pirate ship playground.

The aquarium was tons of fun too!  We saw lots of jelly fish, baby sharks, sea horses, and got to touch starfish and sea urchins in the tide pools.
