Scrapes

Lincoln fell while we were walking and scraped his knees. He was so happy when he made it to the bridge though.

Lincoln fell down and scraped his knees. It happened less than halfway to the bridge, but Lincoln wanted to walk all the way. He is a tough little boy.

Such a sad face. Lincoln held up his shorts so they wouldn't rub on his scrapes.

It was finally warm enough to wear shorts. I was noticing the little bruises on his legs and it made me sad when I got him dressed. I'm even more sad now that he fell. He wouldn't even let me hold him. I wish I could catch him every time he falls, but I can kiss him better.

Mopping

The best helper I could ever have.

Lincoln usually helps me mop when I use the stick mop, but I needed to do a good hands and knees scrubbing and he still helped.

Easter Egg Hunt

We were sharing a box of crackers and Lincoln realized that he was getting less, so he took the box and went to the couch.

Rainy Barbecue

After being sunny all day, it was raining during our barbecue.

Lincoln has been anxious to use the umbrella. The last time he used it was on Halloween, as you can see, he is very happy! During dinner Lincoln told me I was his best friend. These are my best friends cooking a delicious meal!

Whipped Cream

Lincoln didn't like the strawberry pie, just the whipped cream. He asked for it for dessert and called it a "whipped cream cone." He wanted more but I told him he would get a tummy ache to which he replied "I want a tummy ache." I will now say it will make your tummy hurt instead.

Phone

He just drank some Kool-Aid and has a little mustache. Daddy is the only person he will talk to on the phone. We have asked Lincoln why he won't talk to anyone else, he says "I'm too shy."

Strawberry Pie

I made strawberry pie. It tasted better than it looks!

We love Coldstone!

Lincoln is officially potty trained! We told him once he always went potty, we would go to a restaurant for ice cream. He was so excited to treat himself. We are so proud of our big boy.

Lincoln has not been taking a nap everyday. I have told him many times that when he naps, I do dishes, laundry, etc. I have had a sinus infection, so I told Lincoln that he needed to have a nap so I could nap too. He told me "Mom, go have a nap, so I can do dishes, laundry, and vacuum." He led me to my bed and shut the door. I heard the water running a few minutes later and saw Lincoln doing dishes. He is such a sweet boy and the best helper!
