We had a great time being with family this weekend. It has been several months since Lincoln has played with cousins. He absolutely loved it!

Applebee's

We spent the night at a hotel in Grand Junction on our way to Utah. We decided to eat at Applebee's since we had never eaten there. The food was great, but the service was terrible. After dinner Caleb and Lincoln went swimming and then we had hot chocolate and popcorn. We have a pretty great time when we stay at hotels, so Lincoln loves them, plus he gets to stay up late.

Playing with Toys

Porter loves playing with toys now. He loves pushing cars the most. He prefers to be on the floor surrounded by toys, rather than being held. Porter even cries when I take a toy away to get him dressed. It is so fun to watch him play and wonder what he thinks.

Good Morning

The boys just finished eating cereal.

I love mornings. Both my boys are happiest in the morning and I am too. I love waking up to this every single day. I am the luckiest mother!

Spin Art

When Grandma came to visit, she brought tons of my old things. One of them was this spin art. After going to the store for batteries, this worked wonderfully and Lincolnl loved it. Porter still loves the swing too.

We went to the Denver Zoo today. We have not done much since Caleb broke his ankle. The weather was perfect, so we went to the zoo. Lincoln loved looking at all the animals. Porter slept on and off the whole day. We loved looking at all the animals and enjoyed being out in the sunshine. We are lucky to live so close to a good-sized zoo.

Laundry Day

This is how we do laundry at our house. We play through the work. Lincoln loves to throw the laundry everywhere, then hide in the sheets. Porter just likes to put everything in his mouth. Whenever I make my bed, Lincoln wants to be a lump. He hides under the comforter and he laughs like crazy when I try to smooth out the lump. We have fun while we do the laundry.

Tunnel Play

Lincoln loves to play in this tunnel he was given for Christmas. He willingly cleans up his toys, so he can get out the tunnel. He wanted me to play with him, but I would probably get stuck. It is fun to watch him play and we leave it out while we play hide-and-seek.

Six Months Old

I can't believe Porter is six months old already. He is so big! Time flies when you are having fun and we have definately been having fun. We fed Porter some rice cereal, but he did not swallow much of it. Lincoln loved feeding him though.

We have been loving this warm weather. We had a picnic at the park. Porter slept the whole time and Lincoln climbed this rock instead of the stairs to get to the slide. Lincoln is very athletic and loves the outdoors.

Bath Tub

Porter loves taking a bath. He loves splashing and was making a mess in our baby bath, so tonight he had a bath in the tub. He loved it and his splashing did not get all over me or the floor.

Lincoln's Horse

Lincoln is becoming a great artist. Caleb drew a horse and Lincoln copied it, but he drew the legs bent, because it is laying down.

Robe

I started making a robe for Lincoln before Christmas and I just finished it. This fluffy fabric was very difficult to sew, so a few months later, Lincoln finally has his robe. He absolutely loves it.

My Little Boys

This is how Lincoln and Porter usually sit. Lincoln just enjoys holding Porter and Porter loves being held and chewing his fingers.

I absolutely love taking pictures of Lincoln and Porter. They are the two cutest boys and I am so lucky that they are my little boys. I love the stories that the pictures I take tell. They are a summary of what my life is all about.

Bunk Bed

We finally got a bunk bed for Lincoln. We assembled it yesterday and it took 3.5 hours. We have been looking for a bed we liked for months and then we found it online, but it was out of stock for several weeks. The assembly was not too bad, but with Caleb's broken ankle, it took us more time than we anticpated. We are glad that we have it put together. Now on to decorating the room.

Lincoln made this collage for Porter. He picked out the pictures from baby magazines and glued them on by himself. He also helped find the letters in Porter's name. I think Porter likes it too.
