We signed Lincoln up for soccer and bought all his gear today.  Lincoln will start soccer in a few weeks and is so excited!

Rainbow and Behinds

Lincoln has been wanting to see a real rainbow for a long time.  He finally saw one today after our rain storm.  Porter loves playing on the stairs now and Lincoln just likes to be silly.

After Caleb returned from work, we went to the county fair.  We live about five minutes away from the fair grounds, so it was really convenient for us.  We had a great time looking at the exhibits and animals.  Lincoln loved the children's activities too.  Porter liked the animals, but it was fairly hot being outside.

10 Months Old

Porter loves to push the pedals of the piano. (That is Caleb's leg, not mine!)

Porter is ten months old today.  He is growing so much.  He loves to play with everything, toys, food, piano pedals, anything he can get his hands on.  He almost crawls, he just does not get his tummy off the floor.  He is always happy and makes us all happy too!

Caleb had the day off work, so we decided to do something from our summer bucket list.  We went to the reservoir (just a few blocks from our house) and rented a pedal boat.  Lincoln was timid at first, but once they got going, he loved it.  We had a fun day at the reservoir and we went early enough so it was not crowded.

Ooblick

Lincoln and Porter love to play in messy things.  I thought it would be fun to play in Oblick(cornstarch mixed with water).  Both boys loved it.  It was so messy, we had to have a bath and mop the floor afterwards though, but we played in it for about 45 minutes.

Our Fourth of July started out with a ward breakfast.  We ate delicious pancakes, followed by a bike parade (Lincoln is a bit scared to ride his bike), then we went home and had naps.  That evening we had some friends over and ate hamburgers and hot dogs.  It was a fun and relaxing day.

Favorite Things

Lincoln absolutely loves holding Porter.

Lincoln and Porter are such great brothers.  Lincoln always wants to hold Porter, play with him, feed him, and chase him.  They always have fun together.  I love playing with them too.
