Halloween

The mother-load of candy.
The kids got tons of Halloween candy.  We went to the school and church trunk or treats earlier in the month and they got lots of candy from those.  The boys loved going door to door to get candy.  Porter told everyone that "Porter spider, Lincoln America."  He also pointed out the stars and serenaded us with "Twinkle, Twinkle."  We came home, because their buckets were full and Porter was done.  Lincoln and I went out to get the last 10 houses in our neighborhood.  We were about halfway done when Lincoln threw up.  We were going down the steps and he just lost it.  The woman at the door gave me some paper towels and I cleaned it up as best I could.  Lincoln was sick all night and didn't even get to have any of his candy. Poor kid, he still had fun though.   The kids got so much candy!

Porter and Lincoln reading with Daddy.
We love Curious George.  We read those books all the time.  Tonight Porter brought this book down and wanted Dad to read it.  We love reading.

Temple Square

Our cute little family at Temple Square.
Seth playing the Tabernacle organ.
We were able to go to the Tabernacle to watch Uncle Seth play the Tabernacle organ.  He did great at his recital and the boys sat reverently and seemed to enjoy it.

Fall Break in Utah

Lincoln playing in the leaves.
Porter and Lincoln driving the tractor.
Lincoln driving the tractor with Grandpa.
Porter watching Lincoln drive the tractor.
We made a trip out to Utah for Lincoln's fall break.  Lincoln loved playing in the leaves, until he sat in dog poop, so we had to change clothes. Porter loves to look at tractors and sit on them when they are off, but he would not go for a ride with Grandpa.  Lincoln sure loved driving and Porter loved watching!

Train Making

Porter made a train with his vehicles.
Porter is completely obsessed with vehicles.  His favorite are the construction tractors.  I made the mistake of showing him videos on youtube.  He now wants to watch them all the time.  While playing with his toys he said train and then lined them up like a train.  It is so much fun to see this little boy grow!

Lincoln on his way to score a goal!
Lincoln getting his soccer medal.
Lincoln had a great soccer season.  He scored 2 goals at this game and scored during almost every game.  Lincoln has worked hard and attended every practice and game.  His skills have improved and he has started passing.  Way to go Lincoln!

Homework

Lincoln playing in the slime he made.
Lincoln's book report.
Lincoln is loving school and he still likes homework.  He did a book report today and drew an awesome picture of a beaver building a dam.  We bought a science kit from his fundraiser and made some slime.  He loves to experiment.

Jello Jigglers

Lincoln and Porter cutting jello jigglers.
Lincoln loves jello and I don't make it very often.  This was our first time making jello jigglers and both boys loved it.  It was gone in about ten minutes.  We will definitely be doing these again!

Cold Day of Soccer

Lincoln almost scored a goal.
Porter is happy despite the cold.
Lincoln has been doing great at soccer this fall.  He has scored several goals and his defense has improved.  He plays for an hour, so that is long for Porter, but he is happy if he can walk around.
