There's No Business Like Snow Business

We had so much fun playing in the snow today.  We were bundled up so we were warm.  Lincoln and I had a snowball fight and made snow angels.  Porter just sat and played in the snow.  He took off his mittens, so he could touch the snow and his hands were freezing when we were done playing.  We had a fun day playing in the snow.

Biking

We have been enjoying some fairly warm weather.  Lincoln loves riding his bike and Porter likes the trike.  Lincoln loves getting his exercise, so he can get stronger.

Bowling

For Civil Rights Day, we went bowling.  Lincoln has only gone bowling a few times and he loved it.  He bowled without the ramp a few times, but he quickly got tired from it, so he used the ramp.  He ended up with a better score than Caleb.  We had a great time.

Making Cookies

We made cookies this morning.  Porter climbed on the stool and wanted to use the mixer.  He was so proud of himself.  Lincoln got jealous and insisted on mixing too and he actually shared the mixer.  Ignore Lincoln's messy hair and pajamas, it takes a lot of convincing to get him ready for the day.  The cookies were delicious  thanks to some cute little helpers.

Fire Station Field Trip

Lincoln went on a field trip to the Fire Station.  Lincoln loved it.  Porter got scared of the Fire Fighter when he put all his gear on, but he loved everything else about it.  It was fun to see everything and Lincoln learned so much.

We really enjoyed the Safari.  Lincoln was feeling better today and had some energy.  Porter loved to touch the fences more than he liked to look at the animals.  When we got to the petting zoo, Lincoln had to pet every goat.  He loved all the animals.  We had a great trip!

We enjoyed seeing the animals at the zoo.  Lincoln was really sick and cold the entire time, but we saw some animals we have never seen before like the panda.

Del Mar Beach

Our hotel was a block from the beach.  Lincoln had a really bad cough and fever, so he was sad this morning.

I Love to See the Temple

I think the San Diego temple is one of the most beautiful temples.  We walked around and took some pictures.  The boys were pretty exhausted from spending the whole day at Sea World, but they managed a smile for the camera.

We had a blast at Sea World.  Lincoln was so excited to fly on a plane and traveled well.  We loved Sea World.  Porter loves fish and Lincoln loves all animals, so we were all entertained.  The weather was a bit cool, so we didn't sit in the splash zone, but we loved the shows.

Bubbles in January

The temperature was 50 degrees outside, so we blew bubbles.  We had a great time and Lincoln was finally gentle enough to make the big bubbles with the bubble sword.  We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the rare warm January day.

Lunch

Porter loves to feed himself, he is an extremely picky eater though. He ate yogurt for the first time and fed himself.  He even dipped his pizza in the yogurt.  He was a huge mess, but it was the most he has ever eaten at a meal.

Since Porter can now climb the stool, he has to help just like Lincoln.  Porter stirred with his hands, since Lincoln had the spoon.  We all enjoyed the granola and I am always grateful for my helpers.

Cupboards...Not Cute this Time

While I was getting dressed, Porter was in his bathroom playing with the bath toys that I keep in the cupboard.  When I was ready, I came back to find this.  It was a huge mess luckily the Vaseline was half empty, because the mess would have been even bigger.
